Import Customers

Importing customer information via CSV files is an essential function for businesses looking to consolidate and manage their customer data in one centralized location.

Whether you are:

  • Migrating from another system
  • Updating your existing database

This guide will provide you with the knowledge and tools needed to perform a successful import.

Import your customers to TrueBeep to keep them engaged with your content.

  1. Navigate to the Customer Dashboard.
  2. Click on the Import button at the top of the page to start the process.
  3. Upload a CSV file:
    • You can download a sample CSV file for reference.
    • If your customer data is in another format, convert it into CSV.
    • Once ready, click on Upload a CSV File and select the file containing your customers’ information.
  4. Click Next to proceed.

Data Mapping​

On the Data Mapping page, you can:

  • Configure the fields according to your CSV file.
  • Add Tags, an Opt-In page, and Meta Data for the customer group.
  • Optionally, add a custom field for Loyalty Points.
    Once completed, click Next to continue.

Confirming and Completing Import​

  1. Confirm the import process and click Start Importing.
    • The system will show the number of customers to be imported.
  2. Once the import is complete, click on Go to Customers.
  3. You will now see the imported customers added to the list.
